clubcar noise

I am restoring a 2000.5 Clubcar and noticed when I reach full speed it has a rattling noise when no load is on the motor. As long as there is a load their is no noise, as in taking off or going down hill.
Would this have the motor guide ring and could this cause the problem?

yep it needs the motor centering kit..................................

What is the motor bumper used for?
I don't think my cart uses the motor guide ring.
I was told that on newer carts that they use a substance called Nygell instead of the guide ring.
I found the motor bumper, but it does not say what years it fits.

as far as i know it should work on your year and if thats a motor rattling noise i would try it....as for the other stuff i know nothing about it................................
