club solenoid

My gas club car just stopped starting. I have a good battery (12.45 volts). I can hear the solenoid click but then it begins rattling. I tried replacing it with a napa part but then I got nothing not even a click. Any ideas? I have no idea what to look at next.

A auto solenoid will not work it is not for that heavy of use has to be for a cart. You need to check your grounds and the brushes on the starter you should be able to get to three of them
with the starter on the cart.

yes an automobile type solenoid will not work you need to get one for a golfcart.................12 volt solenoid for gas C.C.................................................
