Club Car V-Twin Engine Conversion

It has come across me that the club cars engine rotates counter clockwise. How do you do a v-twin engine conversion in a Club Car then? I am very curious because there is a club car that I may buy for a projhect. Its an 01. I dont wanna give out the details yet but Ill give a hint of what its gonna be like. I want to put a 23hp briggs with all the goodies ie cams, rockers high rev kit. I am thinking about using the 10" jakes lift to get it off the ground and put 28" terracross tires on it.It will have a frame mount roll cage, racing seats, motorcycle speedo, and maybe a brush guard and winch. Im thinking of painting it either a warm or cool color. Not sure which look I want it to take on yet. Pretty much I want it to tear up the atv trail and make the atv riders pee their pants when they see it.

No thats not the 10" Club Car lift kit I was talking about. I dont know where it went. I saw it yesterday on golfcartgiant for about $500. It has 5" of travel and uses up to 28" tires.

He never replied on my engine. Must not be interested. I can't decide whether to hop up the 18 or start over with a 23. I might just do the 18 myself as a learner project.

Sorry Ace, but you quoted ubercart. I thought you were trying to cut a deal with him on his 16 hp when he gets a new one.
No trades, cash and carry. I'm sure you engine is fine, but I just do not have a use for it.

Ron, if Ace does not jump all over this deal, I am going to add all the high performance goodies I can get. The only thing that I am still studying is shaveing the heads to raise the compression so I can get full use of 112 octane race fuel. And yes, if it is a sucess, I will gladly share all the info.

Oh oops I meant to click on your quote box. I have no idea why I quoted uber. New meds don't work well with hand eye coordination.

It looks like I will be be buying the CC instead of doing a big block swap right now. I cant pass up the deal I am getting on the CC. But thanks anyway.

I have a quick question about a vanguard swap in a Club Car golf cart. Today when I looked at the Club Car I am buying I noticed it has a nice swing arm/motor mount unlike ezgo. So can that be used for the vanguard and just drill holes and bolt it in place?

I dont know how much these Club Cars's are worth but this one is completely stripped down. The motor is pulled and body is off. The only thing on it is the steering and suspension components. All the parts do come with it. the cart just needs some tlc and time. Frame looks good but it has apparently been sitting outside for years. Everything that is metal is rusted. Just may need some good sanding. The good thing is the cart is an 01 and has been sitting unused for most of its life. Is this a good project cart for $1200.
