Club Car Runs at 1/2 Speed With New Batteries

I recently put new batteries in my 2013 Club Car Precedent. Now it seems to run at maybe 1/2 the speed that it did before changing the batteries. When I purchased the cart I was told that it had been programed to go faster. Is this a common situation when changing batteries that there is some sort of reset process and do I need to be searching for somebody who can reprogram the cart so that it will go faster again? I'm a new guy, any direction is appreciated. Thanks!

You probably blew the speed sensor I think there is a test on my website under speed sensors

The reason I said something was my neighbor just paid 119 plus tax for oem last week

Ya get what ya pay for most times:twocents::hattip::D

The proof is in the pudding... works great now!

You only get what you pay for when you shop around extensively. When I shopped for ObamaCare, I literally found LOW cost plans with EXCELLENT coverage, and HIGH cost plans with POOR coverage, and everything in between. It is like they threw darts at a dart board to randomly set establish price & coverage!!!

The one year I had ObamaCare, I paid about $1200 in premiums a year (not a month), with a $2250 maximum out-of-pocket expenses, and that year my total medical costs were about $193,000. So for $3,400 total, I save a buttload of $$$!!! :D

If you go to the link he posted first picture is a green wire all the other pictures use a blue wire that means it Chinese made sometimes lasts and sometimes doesn't they used a different hall effect sensor in them and spikes in the circuit can take them out easier.
If it works great if not your not out that much:thumbsup:

There is a company that says thay have OEM sensors for $30
google go fast golf carts

It is merely measuring the magnetic field of the spinning motor. Therefore not possible to have "spikes". In fact, inductors (coils) filter out spikes, even if there were any.

Let’s talk about back emf on a DC motor Or maybe the collapsing coil of a large solenoid just why do they have a diode across the coil terminals on a solenoid any relay coil solenoid can create a high voltage spike. I have rebuilt both sensors and found the sensor used In the Chinese units are rated at about 18 V where of the American made units are rated at 30 V.
Just a little FYI

Furthermore, the "placebo effect" is often in play; when one pays more for something they somehow "feel" it is working/running better. Like those that are foolish enough to time after time pay WAY more for premium fuel, when the recommended fuel is regular, and their engine works perfectly fine on regular. :dazed:

Well then there is more than one foolish Member here according to your wisdom, Where did you gain all this knowledge? is there a book we can buy say on amazon prime:dazed:

Cheap imported parts have the same track record as ObamaCare

UNDOUBTEDLY! I suggest you do a Google search.

Exactly. My ObamaCare example was excellent in proving my point. :D I got a GREAT deal going in, and it materialized as being a great choice.

Sometimes, the "off" brand is BETTER than name brand (of which much of the cost is for advertising, rather that the actual cost of manufacturing the product).

Case in point: I once bought a used Escort that had $60 "Yokohama" tires on it. I experienced tread separation in 3 out of 4 of them!!! There were "tire wars" going on at the time, and (per usual) I got the dirt cheapest tire I could find (ALWAYS had the best of luck doing that), brand new tires for literally $5.00 each (mounting & balancing cost more than the tire!). I wore those $5.00 tires out w/o a bit of tread separation.
