Club Car Precedent Won't Charge

Howdy !! New to the forum & seems like the right one - good people & lots of information.

I have tinkered with an old Cushman golf cart for a couple of years. After It turned out nice, it was sold so I could pick up a 2005 Club Car Precedent. No problems with the Precedent , until now.

The cart won't take the charge, with the charger not even turning on. The charger was checked and is fine with no issues at all. It has been run for some time, so the batteries ( 48V = 12x4) should be accepting the charge.
The batteries are Trojans, well maintained & only 2 yrs. old.
Any ideas what to look for or consider what may be wrong in the cart ?

I'm not real familiar with the Club Car Precedent but look at the basic stuff like all the cable connections to be sure they're clean and tight. What's the total pack voltage? If all the cable are in good shape and there's enough voltage in the batteries to turn the charger on it might be a bad OBC... I think there's also a fuse in one of the wires coming out of the charger receptacle so make sure it's good.

Thanks for your response and good ideas. I will check for any inline fuses as suggested. What are you referring to with OBC ?

OBC is the On Board Computer. It controls the charging of the batteries and is prone to giving problems like your having...

yes as HR said the #1 sympton for a bad obc is the cart not taking a charge. The fuse is in a yellow fuse holder on a grey wire its a 3/8 amp fuse but i have rarly seen that fuse go bad.
