Asking for help. I have a 2006 Club Car Precedent model # PQ0521-508510. 48 volts in and out of solenoid in run position even without gas pedal depressed. 48 volts out of large green wire and large white wire coming from box(?) to drive motor. Grounds are good, batteries pass load test. Jumped solenoid to no avail. Switch in run not in tow. Loud click coming from sol when gas depressed. Kind of lost without manual. Anyone seen this before?

Ok the way this is written you have multiple problems if you truly have 48 in and out of the solenoid with no pedal pressed. and no movement forward or reverse. with power out of the solenoid then it could be controller or motor. Without knowing where you had the meter leads attached what terminals you measured voltage at bla bla bla. Does you charger work, and when you tried to go was it plugged in. there is a little bit too much info and its somewhat conflicting.

You did say that the solenoid was clicking when pedal is pressed correct ??
your forward reverse switch what posistion netural ???
where are you grounding your meter ??
how did you load test ??

The soledoid has a loud clunk when the gas pedel is pressed in foward or reverse. I have a load tester and none of the batteries failed. I would normally use the grounding lug that runs to the - bat terminal when using the multimeter. The bat charger dose indicate charging and it is unpluged during testing. I need to slow down and fallow a diagonistic flow chart. Is there one avaiable? Thank you Diode for the responce.

Most excellant, thank you diode, thank you very much. Oddley enough I went back and retraced some previous tests aka load test and when I reattached all the battery cables the cart now functions normally. I can only beleive that the OBC needed to be reset(test procedure 18). I plan on retesting some circuits just for references. Mom is happy.
