Club Car Powerdrive Chargers

I have 2 Club Car DS both carts came with 48v chargers and the carts are 36v the carts also have the 48v charger ports. Is this normal these carts came from different dealers, and the charger ports appear to be factory installed?
 
You're probably mistaken thinking you have six volt batteries when they're actually eight volt batteries.
 
No Sir both carts have matching batteries clearly marked as 6v and when I test the pack in both carts I get 37 volts.
 
Are these older carts do they have controllers do they have an OBC? How many wires are going to the charge plug in the cart what color are they?
 
Something is not right here. I have to assume these are used carts. You should be able to determine their age by the serial number. I'm thinking that if the chargers are 48 volts and the charging ports match the charger cable, there darned well should be 6 8V batteries! I don't know the current prices of the batteries, but I'm guessing the 6 volt ones are cheaper. Sounds to me like the dealers 'pulled a fast one'.
