club car low speed

2001 electric club car, batteries 1 yr old. At full speed runs fine at low speed it jerks and studders. What is my problem
 
do you have a speed sensor in motor? which system? pot box, V-glide or M-cor?....................

Everything in it is stock. What do I need to look for, DS 2001 model, with power drive plus 2. It is used just as an ordinary golf cart. I really appreciate all the help I can get!
 
well withn 1 year old batteries and it dosn,t jerk and stutter at low speed i would think its in the speed system...........but need to find out which one you have........down on the frame rail by the left front batteries is there a black pie shaped box?..........................
