Very new to this cart thing. I need to to know how to wire 12 volt light to 36 volt system on club car.

Use 2 of the batteries in series from the pack to get 12v.
Nothing on an electric cart gets grounded to the frame, use the battery negative post.
Don't forget a fuse.
