Great site here. I was able to find out almost everything I needed to know.
I had low compression on this KF82 engine in my 1990 Club Car golf cart, squirting oil into the cylinder made very little improvement. I removed the head and found the valve seats covered with a black crusty buildup.
Lapping the valves cleaned up the seats quite nicely but before I put this engine together, I would like to check the valve clearance. Does anyone here know what the valve clearance setting specifications are for this old engine?
