Club car front suspension

I have a 92 CC gasser with custom wheels. I got the cart when I purchased my cottage. Anyway, the guy cobbled the front end suspension to put on 17" rims and wheels and tires off of a ford Probe.
The problem I am having is that when i get more than 1 person on the cart, the front wheels will not stay with the tow in. The upper part of the wheel goes inward and you can barely drive it. I put new shocks with over springs and still it doesnt work correctly.
WHat i would like to know is what is the height of a non-lifted cart. I would like to buy a whole new front suspension for it but i need to know what lift i should get and how high i need to go.
I will try to post a picture but have never been able to do it. I dont know how.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Aprox. 11" to the floor for stock height. Need to know tire diameter to tell you how much lift will be needed. If they're low profile tires, a 6" Super Sport A-arm would be enough lift. Anything over 25" tall will require a 7.5" or larger lift.

The steering rack is the same but the shock tower has been modified as far as i can tell. I would like to get this thing fixed so my wife will stop complaining

You would need a take-off shock tower and intermediate steering shaft. I probably have a take off here. The rack may need replaced also, can't tell from pics, but I probably have that too.

Only other idea would be a long travel.

Looking at the pics, you may be able to toe the front in and get the cart easier to drive.
The drag link between the driver and passenger wheel is what's making the problem. You could mount a double ended rack and pinion like the CC Precedent uses fix the problems you're having.
Hope this makes sense.

I will give you a call soon. The problem i have is when you drive it, it starts out fine and the more you go or if you get too much weight in the front the top of the tires cave inward and stay until i get off and lift the front end up.
