So I've read in a few forums that the lever is just opposite with a counterclockwise running engine vs. clockwise in my 2000 Club Car Pioneer 1200 with FE350 engine? My biggest concern? Is will the clutches operate properly?

Here's a link to a thread were a member used the clutches in the opposite rotation that might help. There's a few more threads in the Club Car section of the forum about this also.
Is there a difference in a Club Car driven clutch on a counterclockwise engine compared to a clockwise driven clutch? Having problem with mid range surge. Works fine at low and top speed.
