Club Car FE290 Valve Lash Settings

Does anybody know what the valve lash settings are supposed to be on a 1995 Club Car DS model golf cart with a FE 290 engine? Thanks, Jim

The Club Car service manual calls for .004 cold but .005 cold seems to be the preferred all around setting.
