Club Car DS Lifted F&R cable problem

I have a 2000 CC DS with a 6" Jakes lift kit & the F&R cable is not fitting after i installed the kit. It gets right into the frame & shock bracket. My question is... does anyone know if there is a bracket made to fix this or knows a fix for this? Im pretty sure that the stock bracket that holds the cable on the rear end side is the problem.

Move the cable out of the frame channel and use 3 1/4" flat washers stacked behind the bracket on the trans. to shim the rear of the bracket outward and allow the cable to clear the frame. 6 washers, 3 each on the two bolts at the rear of the bracket.
