Happy Holiday to all... I know this has probably been asked before but I can't seem to find it. I use my 2000 Club Car golf cart for hauling stuff... firewood, landscaping, etc. I would really like it if the golf cart stayed running and would idle. Everywhere I read that people want more speed so they remove the ground from the rev limiter (I believe) and remove the governor. Will this also make the cart stay running? If so, will it still die when I shift out of gear into neutral or reverse? I assume you should be able to make it idle just like a sled or mini bike? Is this right--tie up the accelerator spring, pry the governor mount loose and remove the bolt, and tape up the ground of the rev limiter- will this achieve my goal? Just running the cart for my type use do I really need a tach? I'm not gonna drag race or do donuts, or even do any hard core trail riding... anything else I should do-someone said adjust the throttle cable? Someone else said something about removing the accel linkage bar? Thanx Hittman
