I have a 1988 Club Car and did a brake job, replaced the brake shoes and brake drums with new parts. The problem is the drivers side bottom spring is loose when installed? I adjusted the adjustment screw as far as it would go, greased and freed everything up. We also have replaced both drivers side and passenger side brake cables. I bought the brake shoes from Everything Carts along with the brake drums and cables. I doubled check part numbers everything seemed to be right. I most have done wrong?

If you have the right brake shoes and they're installed correctly the spring must be stretched.
