Club Car Backfired Oil In Carburetor

When I started my Club Car it backfired and now there is oil in the carburetor.
Any help APPRECIATED.

how much oil? what part of the carburetor? There's really no way for oil to get in there are you sure..

Enough oil in the air intake hose was full and would run long enough to foul the spark plug.

Does the cart have a lift on it? Is it over full of oil? Can you smell gas in the oil?

There is lot of gas in the oil and the golf cart it is not lifted.

If you have gas in oil good chance the carb needs to come off and be torn down. Take your time and don't miss anything.

a leaking fuel pump diaphragm will let gas mix with the oil through the pulser line on the pump :twocents:

Yes indeed a bit rarer than the carb being the problem but yes it would..
