Club Car 48 Volt Takes Off In High Speed

1994 48 volt Club Car with new batteries. Press accelerator pedal and golf cart takes off in high speed in forward and reverse.

Are you sure that this is a 48 V cart does the motor have a speed sensor on the passenger side end, Does the cart have a controller or does it have five solenoids and resistor coils mounted to the solenoids

Yes 48 volt. Has a controller. Worked great for a few days after new batts were installed. Someone said they had a similar issue. Was the OBC

I would check my throttle signal to the controller it’s either that or the controller

Maybe the f&r wired incorrectly direct to batteries

I cannot see how the OBC would give you full throttle

City carts did the battery install. Ran fine like it should for a few days. One morning got in it , put in reverse and about ate the steering wheel. Now forward or reverse just barely press the pedal...FULL THROTTLE.
