Club Car 36v 1984

This cart crawls in reverse. when depressing the go pedal it does nothing @ first click, tries to move @ second click, does nothing else @ third click and moves slow @ fourth click. fifth click changes nothing.
Foreward is pretty much the same except the overall speed is faster . HELP !!!

Have you tested the batteries? It sounds like a battery problem.

Yes, practically new and charged up. 36 .5 volts each

84, 5 solenoid cart? behind the batteries. Sounds like a couple bad solenoids or micros in the speed box or whatever its called, small aluminum box wth the slide micro switches between the bat.
