Problem - Mildew and cleaning it off the seats

The front seat of my Hyundai cart mildews quickly, have to keep after it weekly. It seems to be in the same place all the time. Could the mildew be in the foam and keeps coming through to the cover? I'm at a loss on this one. I have used everything I can think of to combat the mildew. It just keeps coming back.

As a comparison I have a new rear seat that I purchased. It's for a Yamaha G2 and it shows no sign of mildew.

Any help out there?

Never had the mildew thing. Out of curiosity I looked on my 90 seat, no air holes on the bottom, on my 02 3 2in. holes across the seat bottom. Might fix the problem.

That may be the solution. I think I'll replace the cushion material, the vinyl AND drill the holes

Wake up guys. The holes are to let air out when you sit down. I guess they also will let air in when you get off.

If the mold is in the foam, soak the area with bleach, squeeze it out by putting a piece of plywood on it and standing on the plywood and then let the sun dry it out. Could be the foam wasn't dry when you upholstered it. Or, put a piece of plastic between the upholstery and the foam. But how do you know that the mold isn't in the upholstery? Spray that with bleach too. Test it first.

That was my idea to change the air, 3 holes don't cost a thing. Like rolling the window down when you let a big beer fart in your automobile.

Well, I could be wrong, but I thought his problem was with the seat of his Hyundai. Which I think he traded off.
