So thinking about lifting my 98 Club Car electric golf cart. What is the best lift for the money? Can I get by with a cheap lift kit or do you get what you pay for?

Customer service is the best, even if you have a question on a Sunday.

if you want a radical lift that functions as good as it looks, than take advantage of our sponsor's special.
this special ends tomorrow. it is more expensive, but u get a lot for your money.

if u want the best bang for the buck, go to buggies unlimited and look at their a-arm lifts.
you can get 6" or 8" lift for $299. major pro about this lift is that it includes h/d rear leaf springs.
this is important if u plan on adding a rear seat or utility bed later.

some guys may bash these lifts for being made in china, but i've had 2 of them and i think they are great. easy to install, and dependable.
just my 2 cents

That lift is for an ezgo and if you buy the buggies unlimited lift , then thats not patronizing our sponsors. The Allsports lifts are all that the dealer near me uses when they build their carts.

Oops, my bad about the Stretch Plastics lift. I'm sorry about the B.U. lift recommendation, but it is my experience that I was suggesting from.

Hopefully I don't catch more BS over this but let me say this.

The sponsors here are appreciated VERY much. I know we all tell people who are asking about parts and accessories to use the forum sponsors, and that's good thing. But posting reviews and deals, good or bad on parts and accessories from places other than the sponsors is fine to. As long as it's not just advertising for a non-sponsor website. We have always allowed links to other sites here and will continue to.

Thats a great thing about this forum and Im not trying to give xiler8d any grief, I know hes trying to help. I had an Allsports lift on one of my past projects and a part got bent from my son hitting a tree.I got the part I needed replaced which was nice.I like knowing I can get a replacement part. I dont know if you can do that with the import lift kits.

I agree slim67. I would definitely go with a Allsports or a Jake's lift. I just wanted members to know their opinions on other products are welcome here.

The last lift i did on a club car was a homemade Z-lift with allsports blocks and monroe air shocks on the rear. If I ever do another bolt on, I would go with the Super Sport lift in a 6 inch(also comes in 7-1/2 inch).Thats one you should look at.My brotherinlaw has the 6 inch A-arm from Allsports on his and loves it. For the places and way we use our carts, long travels are a waste.

I am a dealer for both Jake's and Allsport's, but I tend to direct people toward the Allsport's lifts. Especially with a DS, I recommend the A-arm lift kits. It basically replaces your old wore out front end. You get new a-arms, spindles, leaf spring etc. You can't beat it!!! It performs as great as it looks. If you go with a spindle lift, you are still left using old leaf spring, bushings, etc. Call me if you need any help or pricing.
