charging depleted 48 volt Yamaha

My 48 volt G19 is so depleted it won't cycle the charger to start. I've jumped a 12 volt battery to get it to start the charger years ago but can't remember which terminals on the battery pack to use.

For your 48v, are using 6x8v batteries, 4x12v batteries or 8x6v batteries?
A 12v charger can be used on a 12v or 2x6v batteries to bring them up.

6 eight volters, read a Club Car service manuel on how to cut out the relay in the charger to get an initial charge above a 34 volt state so that the charger will then cycle properly and start normally. Will damn sure charge it every time it's used so I won't have to do it again. PIA

For battery longevity, it's a good practice to recharge your batteries every time you have 15 minutes or more peddle time.
