Charger wont start

My 98 48v club car was fully charged a week ago. I left it connected to the charger and now the battereis are almost dead (headlights barely work) and charger is not comming on. Its not the outlet. The charger's fuse is not broken. I heard that if the batteries were too low a charger would not come on, but in my case the batteries were full a week ago and slowly drained while still connected to the charger. Any thoughts??

If the batteries are low on voltage the charger won't start. Test the voltage on each battery and a total battery pack voltage and post your results. Check all the cable connections to make sure they're clean and tight. Make sure the batteries don't need water.
