Charger Dead?

I have a 1999 ezgo that has been a work horse. I have left it charging for about 6 mths using a Powerwise charger. I went to move the cart and the lights came on but would not move. After I tried to attach the charger I thought It may be low and I didnt hear the charger come on the the meter didnt move. the light showing 8 hrs did light very dim. Help.

Kevin, there's a good chance your pack is dead. You need to get a meter on it and take voltage readings on each battery as well as the entire pack. Also, make sure the plates are covered with distilled water in EVERY cell before trying to charge anymore.

The charger wants to see about 28v in the pack or else it won't engage.
