Changing roof on 1996 clubcar to a 2000 ROOF

looking to get some answers from the professionals i have a 1996 Club Car DS cart I currently have a overhead radio console on the cart now and i am going to change it to the newer style roof 2000 + style roof I heard they were naughty stronger than the older style looking to find out if there is anywhere else i can mount the radio and speakers besides the roof? please let me know asap please thanks for your professional help JASMINE!!

This is not a term I am familiar with. Does it mean stronger than or not as strong as? I think the 2000+ tops are much stronger than the earlier models. Just my :twocents:
