Cart won't charge

I have a 1999 EZGO electric cart. manf-code #H498 I plug the charger into it, but it won't come on and charge. I know the charger works because it charges up another cart ok.
There is also a Tow/Maintance box with a switch on it. When the switch is on the Run position there is a alarm that goes off, and this seems to be draining the batteries. The sound is almost the same as the backup alarm. Does anyone have any idea what to try or where to look first. Or what might be wrong with it.

The last DCS cart I worked on with the same symptoms as yours was a bad controller. There's a DCS troubleshooting chart in the EZGO Resource forum. Go through that and it should point you to the problem.

have same problem cant get nothing to happen chargede each battery andnow it want charge or go in forward or reverse can hear click when mash gas

Have you tested the batteries?
