Cart will quit when I press Gas Pedal to Floor

I have a 1994 G8A Yamaha Golf Cart. When I press the gas pedal to the floor it stalls out. It will run fairly good when the gas pedal is pressed half way. I can pull the choke out & it will run fine with the pedal pressed all the way down. Any Ideas?

sounds like dirt in the carb, i would start with a good cleaning.

Some thing in the carb is not right, I use some carb cleaner that U pour in gas tank and I took off the fuel line to the carb and poured some in it and let it set, some kind of sludge or gas trash stuck. It took about 12 ounces of the cleaner and it worked GREAT for mine and if you can squirt the cleaner in carb as it runs it helps unstop.
