cart boggs at half throttle

He guys, my workhorse has been great for the last three years. but now it is bogging at 1/2 throttle. It starts pretty good, has new plugs, fuel filter and air cleaner. Does anyone have a clue what is going on and where should I begin to look for problem. Thanks ray

i like to start by checking and adjusting the valves and testing the compression, both are common problems with that engine
