Can't Remove Rear Hubs On a EZGO Golf Cart

I'm trying to remove the rear hubs on a EZGO golf cart and can't get them to budge. I tried a puller, heat and beat them with a hammer.

Have you tried backing off the STAR brake adjuster... located thru the access hole in the drum?
