Canopy Mounting Repair

Looking for advice. I've got a pre-owned 2006 EZGO TXT that has broken the canopy mounts in the rear. Looking at the canopy from the top, the two rear mounting bolts are recessed in wells about an inch in diameter and maybe 3/4 inch deep. The bolt heads rest on the bottom of that well and extend through the metal uprights. Problem is, the bottom of the recessed wells have cracked away from the canopy itself and allow the rear of the canopy to bounce up and down. Also fills the canopy with water when it rains!

Seems to me there could be a simple fix if there were rubber shoulder bushings to fit in the wells, sealing at the top and hold in the bolts. Has anybody found a fix for this?

Thanks

As Elmer Fudd would say, "How vewwy vewwy cwude"! I'm thinking of a solution that would help eliminate the sway that caused the problem to begin with. Thanks for the reply.
