Purchased a used 1988 EZGO which had a broken (burned through) resistors. Installed new resisters and contacts along with sweeper. All wires "appear" to be correctly wired after studying wiring diagrams found on this site and connections tight. Cart runs good, however after a 1/2 hour of running time, pedal begins to stick and examination shows the contacts and sweeper surfaces burning/pitting. I have sanded down the sweeper and contacts several times, but problem persist. I have a 6ga wire connected from the second contact (first contact empty) back to the solenoid on the post which the sweeper wire is connected. Any suggestion to correct the issue would be appreicated.
Thanks
