Can i adjust my govenor, or should i leave it alon

I have a 94 ds club car, with a Kawasaki single cyl. What size is the motor ? and can i adjust the govenor to make it go a little faster? Thanks Bob

how fast is your cart & what how much speed are you looking for?
is your cart lifted with big tires or stock? adjusting the gov. is not a
simple thing if you don't know what you are doing.

It is just a stock cart now. i use it around my house and the farm that is attached to my property. no big tires no lift. But i used it at a car show and my buddys rented carts and they all where faster ( not a lot ) Just wondering. By the way do you know what size Kawsaki motor i have? Thanks Bob

But if you want simple easy fast just put a zip tie around the Gov. Spring in back. Start out very lose 4-5"zips and then tighten to go faster but if you go to far the rev limiter will kick in . I got 19.2 on gps just doing this and still have the rev limiter in place and working
