Cable question....please help!!!!

I need to replace the battery cables on my 04 48V. Should I run 6 guage (Which is stock isnt it?) or upgrade to 4 guage?

Does it only perform better when the entire system is ran in 4ga or will it still improve performance if just the battery cables are bigger. Im guessing its like the old water thru a pipe/ electricity scenario....

Will upgrading the cables to a bigger size make it perform worse though??????

Yes 6 guage is the stock cables size...

If your going to upgrade the cables definitely go with 4 guage on ALL cables. Leave the cable that runs through the OBC and run another cable around it and double that one up. You will notice a difference after you upgrade to 4 guage...
