Buying a 97 Yamaha Golf Cart Have Questions

Hello all,

I'm thinking about buying a 97 Yamaha gas golf cart and have a couple questions. I was wondering what the horsepower of the stock engine is? Does it come with a speed limiter that I would need to take off and if this is a pretty good cart for about $1500-$2000. Is there any issue with this year and model that i would need to know about?

A 97 Yamaha would be a G16 I believe. I think they have around 9 HP. They have a governor but that's easy to adjust or eliminate so that's not a problem. $1500.00 would be a good price if the cart is decent condition. For $2000.00 it should be near mint condition. No major problems with these carts as far as I know.
