Buying a 2005 Club Car Precedent - Good Deal?

Not sure if this is the correct area to post this so please move if necessary. Golf Carts are all new to me and the owner of the company I work for has three Club Cars. I have an opportunity of buying a 2005 Club Car Precedent that was his mothers who never really used it. It looks brand new and has the original batteries, mirror, headlights and taillights and is programed for a higher speed. He would sell it to me for $2,100.00 and wonder if this is a good deal. When I say not used much, it looks brand new so mint condition would be a better word. I also assume since it has four batteries it would be a 48volt cart?

A 2005 Club Car Precedent that needs batteries. $1500.00 tops. Now I'm just giving you my opinion as your going to have to spend 5 to 6 hundred for batteries.

Like Shadowman said $2100 is on the high side. If the batteries are original it will need new batteries. The 12 volt batteries CC uses don't have a very long life span.

Thanks for the reply's guys. This cart is mint, showroom condition and has only been used a few times. I see the Trojan batteries are around $900 and wonder which brand would run 5-6 hundred?

It depends on where you live. I can buy a set of Trojan batteries for 600.00. I read you said its in showroom condition but its still just a golf cart and its worth what your willing to pay.
You asked us and we answered. :)
