I brought the boat home last weekend and took a few pics before I left Shadow Lakes. I'm thinking about taking it out to the Illinois river this weekend and see whats biting out there before I put it away for the winter.

Thanks!! It's a 50 HP Mercury. It runs pretty good, top speed is about 37 MPH

Getting a little cool for that boating stuff up here. About time i winterized mine and put it to bed for the year. We should get a few more nice days. The later in the year you fish the bigger the fish though. Almost all the trophy walleyes are caught in late fall.

My brother-in-law caught a 9 pound walleye last weekend and a few small ones out where I'm thinking of going. I think they're calling for heavy rain this weekend though. I don't mind the cold but wet and cold sucks...
