No it is not. Did you have a intakes valve seize in the head? That is getting more common because of the cheap fuels out there. Could have causes the breakage.
No valves more freely and easy. I’ve used non-ethanol fuel since I’ve had it. Fresh oil change. I’m familiar with small engine “lawnmower” just not this type it is a literal different
