Not knowing squat about this, I gotta ask, don't the fins provide the cooling on those motors?

So what's the advantage of removing them?? :dazed:

those engines don't run any cooling shrouds, they don't run long enough to get that hot. well, unless you run the 1/4 mile.. it takes hp to move air, the faster it turns the more it takes. it gives ya faster throttle response also :yes: the JR dragsters run alcohol which keeps them nice and cool but all those racers are under 18yrs old, i think the older fellas are afraid of becoming Alcoholics......
