Bottom Seat Replacement

Hey guys! New to the forum, have a quick question. On my 97 Club Car, I am replacing the main bottom seat cushion. However, the new replacement does not come with the piece of foam with the foil on it like the original one. Does it matter if I don't put it on the new seat, or do I need to replace it? Also, what can I use to replace it as I can not order it from the manufacture?

Thanks for your help!

I think it's more of a sound deadener but also helps reduce the heat coming up through the seat. If it's not available through a Club Car dealer you could always go to a junk yard and get a piece from a car hood and cut it to fit. Most home centers or hardware stores also sell heat resistant insulation. Welcome to the forum. :hattip:

Thanks for the welcome! Been cruising around here already and have found some other useful information! I will definitely take a look at a hardware store and see what I can find!
