DS, if you don't mind me asking, what are you planning to run for a transmission in this build? Powerglide?

I've been wanting to build something like this with a SBC. Shorty glide with to a 9" out of a Taylor Dunn. Just a tire smoking cart though, nothing fast.

Looks good. The 4-link brackets on the rear end are upside down but with the solid rear suspension it may not be a problem.

Yep I can see it.

Th350 and 9 inch. That's why I stretched it. Drive shaft is gonna be Itty bitty lol
Thinking about widening it about 10 inches.

Missed this. Th350 and aftermarket 9" was looking at shorty glide but wanted longer wheelbase and 350 fits

Wanna say the shock mounts won't work the other way.

Normally the 4-link brackets would have the shorter side on top so the top bar is closest to the axle tube.

Looking at diagram, it looks like I can set bars up like it shows. I can't get diagram to post

With the rigid mounted rear end in may not make much difference. It looks like you have plenty of adjustment on the top bar if you do have to move it.
