So hurry up already so we know what happens…..lol kidding of course but not really. In my opinion it's nice to be able to pick your spring rate when you buy springs but this is also the first time I'm doing this for a golf cart.
they just confirmed that the picture they have for the ebay listing is for the wrong kit. they have the same kit that you sharedYou don't have to fab anything if you purchase the kit that fits your cart.

I think I have 8 bucks in metal for the front lift kit on my wife's ezgo. It's nice to just buy a kit and bolt it on but, it's hard to pass savings like that and I like building stuff anyway.Your right, half the fun is experimenting and fabricating up your idea's.
Way back when these came out, lift kit for a marathon, they cost $250. Once I seen how simple of a kit it was. I started making them myself. Now they're around $100.

"NO"! Not correct. Pay close attention when you order. The link you posted is a lift kit for a electric Marathon. You will need a lift for a gas Marathon.
Reason being. The rear shocks used on electric Marathon are different from gas Marathon.
Gas rear shocks have an eyelet on both ends that a bolt/stud goes through. Electric generally have a stem on each end or at least the top end of the shock.
Also electric carts use a leaf spring in the rear. Gas uses a coil spring in the rear. So only the front half of this amazon kit would fit on your cart.
Here is the kit you'll need.
