Battery's

Hello I recently purchased a 1982 EZ-Go Marathon electric cart.This is my first cart.It has 4 newer batteries and two older.It looks like most of the batterry cables have been replaced.The cart seems two only last about 20 - 30 min. on a charge.I don't know how to test battery's.Or what else I should look at?

It sounds like the batteries may have seen their better days.

Take individual voltage reading on the batteries after a charge and again after the cart start slowing down. This will tell us the condition of the batteries. You can check the voltages without unhooking any cables. Place positive lead of meter to + and negative lead of meter to - on each battery...
