battery trouble

I have a 94 marathon that converted it to 48 V and using seperate 12V with the 36V. The batteries with the 12 V charger connected to it only charges to 65% changed the batteries to two new ones and same thing is occurring. tried charging individually using 6v mode and same thing no more than 65% any ideas???

Are you sure there's not a problem with the 12 volt charger? How do you know the two 6 volt batteries are only charging to 65%?

Any chance the battery in your multimeter needs changing???

the multimeter is fine. rest of the batteries read 6.1-6.5. I used two different chargers. one of the chargers have a 6 volt charge setting on it where it also tells me percentage of battery. I might have to disconnect all accessories and charge the batt see if that make a difference. the wiring is setup like yours gorno. worked fine for 1 year then now it acting up. could the batteries be losing power (drain) somewhere. It drained fast and almost left us stranded.

Forget that scale and take voltage readings on all 8 batteries one hour after a full charge. Post the results.
