Battery Solution

Can someone provide a solution to hardened lead buildup on one of the battery posts. Also, the same post looks to have a singed cable leading to the post. What may have caused this?

most cases when you have that issue its loose and or dirty cable connections...........they need to be clean and tight always................as for the buildup i don,t know that theres any solution to the problem other than junk sicence.......................................................

I agree with Shadowman on keeping the cables clean and tight. This Lynx battery terminal spray will help keep them corrosion free.
