Battery question not yet posted

We have just bought a 93 ezgo , got it home and started the resto on it and realized the batteries are completely dry. What steps should we take with this. This is our first cart and we are oblivious as to what we should do .

Start with filling the batteries with distilled water until the plates are just covered. Then charge the batteries individually with a 6 volt charger or two at a time with a 12 volt charger. After each battery get to 5+ volts you can use the carts charger to continue charging them. Once the batteries a fully charged (if they take a charge) you can fill them the rest of the way with distilled water. It will take a few charge cycles to bring them back to full capacity if they take a charge at all...

And you do not have unhook the batteries to use the 6 volt charger on them.
