battery disconnect

the directions for the alltrax axe controller says to install a battery disconnect and use it while the batteries are charging. what are your thoughts on this and does your cart have one?

all the alltrax controller i have ever put on i don,t remember ever seeing that .........more important is putting the fuse in the system as for a disconnect i,m sure there are guysout there with it but i have never heard of a problem because there wasn,t one hooked up...............just an opinion............................

thanks shadow, i will install the fuse and leave the disconnect off.
