Battery charging

As noted in an earlier post I have an Ezgo cart without a controller .Can I charge it without the controller or would I be better off to just use a reg. charger and charge them one at a time? It is going to be a few weeks before I can replace the controller and don't want the batteries the go bad also.I should mention that it doesn't have the tow / run switch.

You can charge the batteries without the controller.
The charger goes directly to the battery pack and is not connected to the controller.
You will probably see the smaller white wire (+) on battery 1 and the smaller black wire (-) on battery 6 attached to your battery pack, leads back to the charger receptacle.

Just what I needed to know.

I would like to be able to kep the batteries up untill I get the cart going.
