Anybody know why my battery charger doesn't work when I plug into my golf cart. Meter doesnt move or charger doesnt come on. Any kind of reset button on the charger???. I have a 2005 ezgo cart

I get that a lot here. Usually it's the outside of the terminal on the carts receptacle that has to make contact with the little metal tab inside the DC plug on the charger. The EZGO manual tells you to use a nail file/board to clean the outside of the terminal.

Dont think its the carts plug/terminals. I used a buddy's charger and it works fine.

If the terminals and the small metal contact are dirty on the charger plug it can still be your problem. Can you try your charger on your buddies cart?

Yes i tried my charger on another cart, still wont work. Can the terminals be cleaned on the charger and how do you recommend to clean them.

I bet it's the relay board inside the charger. Just had the same problem, and I bypassed the relay, and it worked great. Changed the relay, and it works as it should....
