Hello,
I have a '75 Cushman. It has 6 - 6 volt batteries. Is it possible to install only 3 - 12 volt batteries and have it run without problems?

You can use a three 12 volt battery setup but your run time will be short. You'll get get less than half the run time that you would get using six 6 volt golf cart batteries. The life of the 12 volt batteries will be very short also because you will be running them down to very low voltage between charges.
