Batteries- Don't Buy new US Batteries

I bought a new set of US Batteries last summer 2007. Previously I had 2001 Trojans with a Battery Life Saver installed. The old Trojans with the Battery Life Saver performed much better than the new US Batteries. The US Batteries have shorter run time, especially in the cold weather. There is nothing like spending $400 to lose power and get stuck in the snow bank. Last year with the old Trojans, I only got stuck in deep snow once. Yesterday, I did not have enough power to spin the tires. It is great for reviving old Trojans as long as you do not have dead cells. I found a good source for Battery Life Savers if any one is interested. I say NO to US Batteries. I say YES to the Battery Life Saver.
